Good suggestion, OP. I sent an email to feedback@ and community@.
Agree with above posters. The lack of communication is the biggest issue for me. I'll be canceling my subscription after the next cycle if there is no official announcement. Actually, if there is an official announcement, and it amounts to "No", then I will probably cancel in that case as well. (Why would we have to live in Europe to RP?)
I can only imagine that they will add an RP-PVE server down the road. It doesn't make sense to do otherwise. But I'm not going to pay for a subscription knowing that I'll have to start my characters over once they add the server I want. Besides, this game will probably be a lot more refined in a few months.

On Wiccana you hear a lot of anti-rp banter in OOC.

We should push on this both adresses, with these emails on the OP we can keep this thread around to make the community aware.
Since we moved to the OOC forums, we lost around 90% of our thread views, anyone cleaver to the point to make a roleplaying petition for a roleplaying realm "plane", we could do this in character and have all the links and stuff like the petition linked bellow the in-character OP.
Huggles,

I changed the OP to what you suggested.
The RP thing will be a challenge though. Maybe someone would like to give it a shot and post it here and we can help edit?
Also, thank you for your original petition and dedication LadyP!

It's a principle thing. If RP-PvE was that big of an issue, I wouldn't have bought the game in the first place. I could have respected Funcom's announced stance that "you can't have RP without PvP", even if I disagreed.
However, now that they have officially tossed that argument by providing EU with a RP-PvE server, it is unacceptable to not offer their NA customers the same option.

If you're as disgusted as I am with the current situation with EU having an RP-PvE server while NA isn't even given a response concerning one then please take a moment to email FC and express your concerns. All I ask is that you please choose your words wisely in your email.
Edit: I do understand the game has issues they need to deal with, but those issues didn't stop them from giving EU an RP-PvE server. It may seem like a small thing to some, but this just really seems very unfair to me and is what's driving my frustration. I have about a month left to give them then I'm done.
All they need to (needed to do) was communicate on this issue. Most RPers are some of the most mature gamers around. We understand, we allow, we make exceptions for, we make due, but sometimes enough has to be enough and I'm there.
And also please support this petition

I've already tried contacting the powers at be quite a few times weeks ago when all this european bias crap started, Except for a response "I can't answer that question" i never recieved a response period. I have given up on the issue myself, Funcom would rather cater to EU and leave the NA people out of the loop even though we all pay the same subscriptions.
AOC = a great game
but funcom = a ahole of a company

Why not? Turbine did the same thing with LOTRO.

You’re assuming that everyone reads the forums.
I didn’t read the forums before I started playing, so I had no idea that Wiccana was the ‘unofficial RP-PvE server’. When I made my first character, I didn’t see a non-PvP RP server, so I just picked a PvE server from the list (Dagoth). I am sure that a lot of roleplayers did the same thing. Without the official tag, it naturally scatters the RP community.

I'm not expecting a reply to one of my emails or even the PMs I sent out a while ago. Just continuing to let them know my opinion on what they're doing, or not doing, I guess is more appropriate wording.
The more who do this the more likely it is they'll see what a bad decision this entire thing was and will reconsider, or at the very least communicate.

Not quite. Codemasters was the ones that decided to add a RP server for the EU players, if it would have been up to Turbine it would have never happened, further Turbine bust their collective humps to foster Role Playing on all of their servers, but the largest RP player base is on Landroval. I have never once been harassed by anti RP jerks in that game, I saw one person act like an ass in beta he was perm banned and it was announced why he was perma ban in World Chat. That initial don't screw with us stance by Turbine has set the tone, and now LOTRO enjoys the single most mature player base out there.

/signed to have the EU-RP-PVE realm shutdown as it damages the integrity of the lore by it's very existence.
Lore-supports extreme violence, danger, and the ever-present threat of death. RP-PvE would spit in the face of lore by it's very existence, and in turn, be counter-productive to what real RP is: Immersing yourself in the actual world in which the story/game takes place.
If Hyborian lore actually supported the notion of you can't/won't be attacked/murdered for no reason in plain sight in broad daylight, it wouldn't be an issue. It doesn't really though. It's more stalking your prey, plotting you schemes, and taking swift, brutal actions towards any and all who may cross you.
You can't do any of that on a PvE realm. Not being able to do those things damages the integrity of lore. AoC is one of the first real opportunitys to have good, lore-supported Dark/Evil-RP that isn't inherently corny in presentation. You can't be Dark/Evil without PvP, and you can't be a righteous zealot "good guy" either. There's no conflict.
Quest-stories will only go so far, and from there, the real content will be interpersonal interactions, guilds warring with each other and forming alliances, and sieging each others battlekeeps.
And keep in mind, Hyborian diplomacy is just a more polite way of saying fight to the death. While words can take you so far, might will always make right.
