So, this Aquilonian legionaire is stationed near a Cimmerian village. One day, he goes into town to visit the local pub. Sitting at the bar is a dour looking cimmerian. The Aquilonian orders his ale and sits sipping it.

After a few minutes, the Cimmerian turns to him and says. "Last week, I killed 20 Nemidians. Do they call me "Angus the Nemidian slayer?..... NO."

The Aquilonian just smiles politely and goes on sipping his ale while the Cimmerian goes back to staring at his. Another few minutes go by and he turns again to the Aquilonian and says, "Last month, I put out a fire that was threatening to destroy the village. DO they call me "Angus the Firefighter? ...... NO!"

The Aquilonian nods politely at the Cimmemrian who again goes back to staring into his ale. Another few minutes go by and then the Cimmerian turns to the Aquilonian, raises a finger, and says...

"But you shag ONE sheep...."

An Aquilonian nobel was talking to Stygian diplomat who was doing his best to stay amused. The topic turned to wives, and the Aquilonian brought over another nobel and said: "This man introduced me to his sister. She's the best wife I could ever ask for. Isn't that right, Dad?"

I think it's because all the other joke threads were in OOC, it fit better here. Don't flip out over little things.

Your right, its a little thing but its annoying. As much for the attitude it suggests as anything else.

The mod *really* needs to learn that mod stands for "moderation" as much as "moderator." S/he who moderates least moderates best. If it isn't totally and obviously misplaced, don't go second guessing the poster. Assume they did what they did for a reason and don't mess with it.
