As an example, you can put both Counterstrike 2 *and* Counterstrike 3 on targets at the same time.

What is Counterstrike Stacking, exactly? Is that like using Counterstrike twice or something?
Gruunt above me has it correct. CS stacking is using 2+ ranks of Counterstrike on mobs. You can position 3+ mobs to get hit by it if you're careful, and it makes leveling quite a bit more enjoyable.

May be in poor taste given the previous posts, but for information on it, jump over to this guide:

Any thoughts on replacing 1-handed Edeged with 1-handed blunt?

I've been using Blunt all the time and it has been working pretty well up to now. What do you guys think?

I don't really think there's a difference, but as a general rule you're more likely to find +Edged damage items than +Blunt damage items. Also, blunt weapons tend to more often carry Wisdom than Strength, so while not all blunt weapons are bad, on the average edged weapons tend to carry the day.

I remember some discussion about it previously...some guy had mentioned something like for blunt an above hit is faster than for edged...so he was theorizing it might be slightly better for combos that have you hitting on top alot (for example Counterstrike)...if true imo it's such a small thing it wouldn't matter.

I just checked, and there is one relatively significant difference between blunt and edged weapons. Blunt weapons have lower top-end damage but much higher bottom-end damage, so they're more likely to hit for consistent damage. This might be more suitable for some people's play style.

/bumping this guide as it has been the single most useful source for information on the class I have seen. I feel it was a mistake to "un-sticky" this guide and it should be re-stickied. Useful information, presented in a highly readable fashion, includes opinions not all agree with perhaps but then that is why they are called opinions :P

Thanks for the guide, whatever the outcome it made my experience with a guardian much more fruitful than before I read it.
