Interesting...I tried the test again, this time assuming that everyone in the Conan world has a furious temper and kills people in a murderous rage, and that Robert E. Howard is not promoting a way of life or character that he personally believes in, and that he is not writing about women that he thinks are attractive...and I still got a 49. My roommate tried it and scored Conan for a 56.
Apparently two people have two different ways of interpreting the books. (Which is perfectly fine

) Still, I get the feeling that many legendary heroes of myth (Luke Skywalker, Aragorn, Harry Potter, etc.) would score strikingly high on this scale. Most of the time a Mary Sue character is simply awful, but that one millionth of once percent who are written well come our greatest heroes. I suppose that's all I was trying to say.
Oh...and thanks for the Darth Vader idea. If I had my choice, it would be: "The power to destroy a planet is insignificant compared to the power of the Force!", followed immediately by: "They're no match for droidekas!!!"
