Here is a list of all the items needed for Tier 1 Alchemy quest. Will edit and update as they do.

You will be required to hand in a sample of each of these items. Do not SELL/DESTORY/EAT your created items; They are needed to complete your quest. You have been warned.

Alchemists Caches can be farmed no matter your level. They are a lootable item found in the loot bag of caster type npcs. Click the Alchemists Cache to open it. Make sure you have enough room for multiple items in your resource inventory. The Cache will disapear without giving you anything if you dont have inventory space. The mats that drop from the caches are tailored to the Priest or Mage NPC's level.
LvL 40-50 = Tier 1. Lvl 50-60 = Tier 2. Level 60-70 = Tier 3.
(if you have gotten tier 1 out of higher lvl mobs please post so i can update / confirm)
They are uncommon, the drops are random, be prepared to farm for a little while.

Caches drop all Alchemists Mats:Caches drop both the Primary and the Vendored Mats. Mats still drop on other listed NPC's outside of caches

Messed around in excel to try to make things easier to read...Updated to Tier 6. Missing the duration info on most tiers and if the effects last through death. Please post info for updates if you have it Thank you.

The pattern seems to imply that if the component has an animal name
Examp: Wolves Blood, it will drop off that type of lvl 40+ animal.
Everything else drops off lvl 40+ Humans.

I havent been able to find any secondary items. Even the first ones are to rare for alchemy to be worthwhile.

I've gotten Yohimbe Bark and Ivory Dust from Tarantia Noble area

I talked to a GM yesterday and he told me that all tradeskills on the US servers are pretty messed up right now, I would assume no secondary components for alch also falls within these bounds

except they have dropped. Drop rate may be fubar, but they are in the loot tables.

You can also get Yohimbe bark off of the Vanirs in Fields of the Dead
