1. Where you are located
Dallas, TX
2. ISP you are using
Time Warner
3. Server you're on
Tyranny
4. What you were doing at the time of the spike
Last night I saw it whilst in combat several times. This morning I was standing around staring at the scenery.
5. Estimate of the time it happened at
Seen it at night (~8PM) and this morning (10:30AM) Central.
6. How long does it last
~10 seconds.
7. Specs of your Computer
E8400 CPU. Asus Rampage Formula Motherboard. XFX 9800gx2 graphics. 4GB memory. Connecting via wireless LAN (Netgear Rangemax).

I'm not seeing these lag spikes in other online games I play. Obviously, it is AoC-related in some way.

Where: It happens all the time now during combat. No matter where I am. During fights there's this freeze where I can move, but not attack. The enemy does not appear to be attacking, my life bar is staying the same. The fps is fine, steady at 50+ and then it seems to "catch up" and I am dead.

ISP: Bellsouth (AT&T)

Server: Cimmeria

What was I doing: Combat

Time: Happens often. Can't pin one down.

How long: Generally 5-10 seconds, but has lasted around 15.

Comp specs:
Vista Ultimate
8800 GT
3 Gig RAM
AMD 5000+ x64

I just called my ISP (Seaside Communications) and they told me they had multiple people calling in specifically about AoC latency issues. He said everything from their end looks normal and the users are only experiencing problems with this game, and determined it to be an issue with the game itself.

So there's another ISP blaming the problem on Funcom.

I would have to agree with the ISP, some friends and i can be together and all of us get 10k spikes at the same time, then we always get disconnected and have to wait 3 min to get back on, i almost feel they do it on purpose to rotate everyone in, jk, anyways its not my fault funcom fix your servers

1.San Diego
2.Time Warner
3.Any place on Aoc
4.Happens at random, but most notably when fighting
5.Spec of Comp: Intel E6300 1.8 OC'd to 2.8ghz
4gb of 800mhz, only 3gb recognized
BFG 8800gts 640mb
2/500gb HD western digital
32bit Windows Xp
D-link (Wired)

Just some notice from funcom would be nice. I know they must be busy, but this has got to be high up on their priority you would think.

I tried creating a new character on the same server as I normally play (Cimmeria), and while I still got a few spikes, they were much less severe on that character. My original character, however, still gets a 9800ms spike soon after logging in that doesn't go away. Also, I tried using my old laptop (running win xp as opposed to vista on my desktop) and I didn't get spikes at all (though it was still unplayable on that machine due to framerate). So perhaps the problem is vista related.
