You should all test to see if there is a new instance in the instance list after the latency spike.
There's one theory being strongly considered on the European forums that the spike has to deal with the servers having issues when creating new instances of zones/shutting down instances of zones.
At this point, I don't think this has anything to do with ISPs. That kind of stuff can usually be found and fixed very fast.

WOW, last time I posted in this thread, it was at 34 pages, and now its more than doubled!
Still having these issues, currently have the game going with a constant 10k ping. WOOP WOOP!
I just don't get the fact that there is no acknowledgment from Funcom about this. It would be good to know that they are looking into it.

for what its worth (my fourth post here).
CTD 4 times last night in Khromph province. Maintained group all times but 10k lag was ever present all night- others in group also had same problems. Switching from 'Thor' to 'Nu' had no impact on my lag.

Still no change
1. Where you are located: United States (east coast)
2. ISP you are using: ATT DSL
3. Server you're on: Set and Deathwhisper
4. What you were doing at the time of the spike: Usually it happens during a fight after the initial pull, sometimes as soon as I log in.
5. Estimate of the time it happened at: Random times, 8am est, 5pm est, ect...
6. How long does it last: Anywhere from 3-10 seconds sometimes a lot longer.
I noticed that ever since ive installed vista my DSL seems to drop out randomly, watching streaming video is most notable. Sometimes I can watch it with no issues and other times it stop every few seconds. I'd like to rule this out but I havn't a clue how to fix the streaming.
