I pvpd with a conq, barb, and demo with little to no aa and bad gear and I managed just fine. Sure things were harder but that's what make getting campaign badges and that gear more satisfying.
Player housing being listed as a higher priority than pvp stuff is absolutely ridiculous though. Please remember though that they just published the results. They aren't saying that is their list of priorities.

But it's a completely different gaming experience then a FPS. It's like saying well we are all equal on a FPS, lets just play chess instead. A little more extreme then switching from an MMO to a FPS, but the concept is that players like adventuring and having the abilities/game play of a MMO. Having skill being the deciding factor over a fight doesn't need to be just for FPS.
I want to counter attacks/cc/heal/circle strife & everything else mmos have. I want to have a character that has a world that is all connecting and I can venture through them while killing players. I like FPS, but an MMO has a different feel, one I actually perfer more.
It's not that progression should be taken away completely, but it must be easier to obtain to be competitive in a PvP setting.
