I have decided to start a new guild to try and keep the old stories of both Cimmeria and Wicanna alive, while getting established, experienced RPers together to spark new user generated content. This guild is called "Veterans of Hyboria" and is exclusive in that you must be an established RPer to officially join. We will consider each applicant carefully and judge based on the impact the applicant has had on the server, length of time in the game, etc. If you're not accepted, it doesn't mean we don't like you, I promise.

This guild is open to all classes, all races, and all character types. Villains are especially welcome as there are so few remaining on the server. If you are a veteran RPer, feel free to join with your main character or, if you prefer to use this as a side guild, bring in an alt or new character. As long as you can contribute to new stories and keep the old ones alive, you're welcome to bring in any toon you wish.

We'll start working on a guild city soon and the like so that we can have all the RP perks of the big guilds. ICly the guild will be a band of elite mercenaries available for any kind of job, hopefully with a good balance of soldiers and mages and priests. If you've ever played Fire Emblem, Ike's mercs is kind of what I'm going for.

Lol, what's your main character? I'm very open to accepting applications from anyone. Whether or not you get in depends on a lot of factors, but I'm happy to take an application.

Wish you luck on this. BUT, there is a new crop of RPers out there that could be real solid prospects. Don't discount the new blood friend, I've found that new blood mixed with Veterans makes a pretty solid leg up.

True, and I love talking to and helping new RPers, that is why they are more than welcome to interact with everyone as members of our website or RP with us in-game. However, there are also a lot of really good RP guilds out there for them to go to. This guild is something of a niche guild with a very specific purpose. We're not looking to steal members from other guilds; we're more than happy to take alts. The main goal is just to bring experienced RPers together to brainstorm, preserve history, and liven up RP for the entire server.
