And the gear you get from 6 mans is on par with alot of the raid gear in some stats while raid gear is better in other ways. The PvP gear still holds its own against the PvE gear as it has tenacity and the PvP stats added in. Is it as good as a full Khitia DPS set? no but then you can get that if you wanted to as it only takes 6 to get.
Im still not clear on why PvPers are scared on the PvE players in high tiered gear. It was my assumption that PvP players think PvEer's are all scrubs no? So why are you scared of them in their shiney gear? Unless you mean the players that actually have the skills to be good in PvE and PvP? Is a PvEer with a crafted T3 weapon that much of a threat?
And Funcom was no different when it came to listening to the cring PvPers as well when it came to gear they wanted. Just look at the whole Bori being controlled by a select few and all the cring that went on and asking for a set of PvP gear that they could get cuz the "Big Meanie" guilds wouldn't let them into Bori. Bori when it came out was controlled by 6-8 people 75% of the day yet everyone cried and cried and Funcom listened and GAVE them an option instead of actually trying to earn it the way that was in the game. In no way did I like Bori as it existed but I understood the concept they were going for it just lacked the player drive to make it work.
So do the players in the mini game set cry about the ones in the Bori sets because the difference in stats kinda like the stats in raid gear are different from PvP gear? I'm guessing no but hey maybe they are.

The PVPers in the minigame gear actually do cry rivers about anyone over PVP 7. It is amusing to see, and when you tell them they suck because they cannot overcome a 5% stat difference they tell you to go back to Bori, regardless of the fact that you have 5x the amount of kills as them.
IMO if you are PVP 7 you have nothing to bitch about, that gear is good and easy as hell to get. My DT is almost PVP 7 with 3.5k kills and no Bori so not sure what everyone is complaining about. I didn't hit PVP 5 before until I hit 25,000 kills...
