Because of... what?
What did I say? I don't even remember Bayatush.

There not being strong rp guilds as in Cimmeria and most rprs not being used to the idea of of rp pvp, politics and war do not take form.

There is no interest in pvp rp or even in conflict related rp. I thought of making a guild called Empire of Turan and swing it at Satetka in a war for world domination. But the server rp population is not into pvp. So at the end it would satetka and his heals and me and my third world connection.

Not even small scale stuff? You can't have story without conflict - of some kind. And sure, you
can let the game-provided PvE provide the conflict that advances characters and stories. But that's actually harder than player conflict, because the game content never changes, so you have to continually come up with new twists and RP-interpretations of the same PvE encounters. That can be fun, for sure. I enjoy doing it sometimes. The last six months or more of Briesse's experience, when she learned how to replenish her power (after Arwyne devoured 1/3 of it, immediately before Amaroq killed Arwyne) has been in private, all in my head and with NPCs, in Khitai and Turan PvE. But it seemed the vast majority of RPers didn't like RP combined with game mechanics (such as PvE), and a few even got angry and defensive when a group of RPers was doing PvE in-character.
Ah well. I love RP - but I don't get most RPers. I probably never will. It's probably a good thing I'm stepping back from RP. If I want to experience a good story, I'll read a good book, play a good story-based game, watch a good movie. Or maybe even write it myself.
