My wife and I are new to the game and we have been trying out various classes. I realize a DT with a healer would be ideal but which one? Does a DT debuff targets for unholy damage that say a class like the Necro could do additional damage with?

Just wondering what some veteran Dts would feel would make a great leveling partner and what would be good at end game.

I would have her roll a ToS. They are fun and a healer/DPSer. DTs do debuff for unholy and holy.

I'd have to agree with a Tos... Buffs, heals, dps and mana

Your DT will want the excellent feats Pact of Malacodor and Soul Barrier, but they can deplete your mana very quickly in a fight. The ToS and Bear can feat for abilities to recover a significant amount of mana for the group so both are good options.

Synergy with Bear is best since both have more abilities that benefit each other (melee). The playstyle of a Bear and ToS is different enough she could try both to around lvl 20 and stick with one she prefers. Still, I recommend trying the Bear out first because melee combat is one of AoC's more interesting and stronger points.

Any priest or any mage would be amazing to be honest... can't go wrong so pick whichever one you find the most fun. DT and HoX would be the most fun IMO, albeit not the best pair in terms of debuffs and group support.

I love BS healing me, Ether theft + stam regen + crush armor's + harder to kill if you come across any pvp(not like thats even possible nowadays).

Plus max lvl Mani of moss + void of madness is a beautiful thing.
