Anybody notice that offhand hits never crit.Why is this? Bleeds crit combos crit but i notice i never did have a offhand hit crit!I maybe be wrong anybody else notice this? Or am i just trippin?

Off-hands don't crit, on any class, it's amazing the amount of people that argue with me to death about it and think they do.

Its a text parsing error.

An offhand crit looks like a regular crit in the parser.

I tested this buy saying "1 hit" before doing a white hit, to make it easier to spot.

My normal stance, unbuffed, offhands hit for about 100-150

A normal off hand hit:

[Kellyn]: 1 hit
You slash Straw Man for 302.
Your offhand slashes Straw Man for 124.
You afflict Straw Man with Lacerate

Crit offhand hit:


[Kellyn]: 1 hit
You slash Straw Man for 262.
You critically slash Straw Man for 213.
[Kellyn]: 1 hit


Here is another one:


[Kellyn]: 1 hit
Your Lacerate crits Straw Man for 31 slashing damage.
You slash Straw Man for 282.
You critically slash Straw Man for 223.
You gain Furious Inspiration (2)
You afflict Straw Man with Deep Wounds
Your Deep Wounds hits Straw Man for 85 slashing damage.
You gain Lightning Steel

A third:

[Kellyn]: 1 hit
You slash Straw Man for 314.
You critically slash Straw Man for 240.
You gain Furious Inspiration (3)
[Kellyn]: 1 hit


And finally, a double crit - regular hit and offhand hit crit


[Kellyn]: 1 hit
You critically slash Straw Man for 363.
You critically slash Straw Man for 277.
You afflict Straw Man with Lacerate

Ideally, they would change this to "Your offhand critically slashes X for Y.

Alas, I don't ever see this getting fixed.
