It was three months ago but I went from somewhere in pvp 2 to pvp 3.5 in no more than 6 hours. Could have been less than that. Pvp levels happen very quickly at lower levels.

Me saying if you get destroyed at pvp 3 you will probably get destroyed at pvp 7 as well is not the same as saying a pvp 3 and 7 get burnt at the same speed.

I am pretty terrible at this game and I overcame rolling a fresh toon recently so you can too.

KDR means nothing.

I can get on my conq and full tank spec him because he has a lack of gear (PVP 1, T1/T2 gear) and run the flag perfectly.

you just don't get it, carry flags as an undergeared tank, don't bother specing carnage or whatever you'll get FF'd and quit.

Run the flag, build those tokens and gear, once you have some decent gear you can get mixed up in the fights a little better. If your team isn't looking after their flag carrier that's THEIR fault, not gears fault etc etc.

The QQ is painful because you're making excuses when they're not needed. YES, conqs are gimped when undergeared but YOU, can make it work within limitations. If you're bad, you're bad, work it out and you'll improve, QQing on the forums isn't going to change anything...

That's about as much patience as I have for this daily QQ.

I find it funny that undergeared demos QQ to me in min games about how they don't have gear and can't do anything, it wasn't so long ago that I was PVP 1 in blue gear going positive in mini games against these big bad PVP 7+'s, it's all about understanding how PVP works..

This is the point I've tried to make many times with regards to conk pvp.

Yes, Brute is boring. But it's how newbsauce survives until one of two thresholds is achieved, gear or familiarity. I've seen some as-good-as-naked carnage conks melt face, but they were a) the minority and b) only good until they got focused. Likewise some very geared conks (of both brute and carnage persuasion) get stomped because they simply refused to get pvp-minded and familiar with their toons, but by and large heavies become so forgiving once a pile of purples is worn that even baddies can appear to be good based solely on a kdr that implies skill but reflects only a hard-coded unkillability.

This is why most of the builds posted here are such crap. Paper thin survivability or off-the-wall experimental builds don't help the pve-minded or the new players.
