I disagree that the chance of a useful bonus is as low as you make it sound. I'm pretty sure I've gotten multiple bonuses on a single crit.

training book, if you win the roll you can train the new rank and yes, as far as I know only the new ranks featable through AA require a perk slot.

Scarab Knight shouldn't increase in damage with more Magic Dmg. I don't use magic damage gear... because it doesn't help in PvP, and the coefficients are shiiiiiiiit. Slight increase in damage, and changing the dmg debuff to something like Atrophy would be nice.

Void of Madness is gud. I like all the buffs. Some could stand to be buffed. I like how many buffs there is; they should all be equally good though. That way, while there is randomness you don't have to worry about getting the right buff.

you are forgetting joy is tank spec dt

joy is forgetting that even with every spell proc crit you get one stack,
so more desecration you have in your spec more chance you have
to get stack.

i haven't test beta so much but a friend gave me log in for beta
and I had 2,3 or even 4 and 5 stacks of void all the time in pve.

i am not sure but i think i even got 2x of the same buff sometimes...
