This is pretty much one of the worst scenarios for Funcom now from a publicity standpoint. Although if you want to talk botched and negligent xpac releases, go ask some FFXI players about the last full xpac.

They've generated so much positive press with this release, and the community bolstering the game's image over time.

Today, including all of the hiccups, and the fact that the game did NOT meet the 11th deadline, has just destroyed about 50% of that boon they worked on for a year. Whether or not it is still the 11th in the US, EU has not seen live, and it is the 12th there.

Not to mention a lot of pissed off shareholders...
