Well, after having PI for 2 weeks I absolutely love it.

I can see why people would feel underwhelmed by it as other classes have some pretty huge major perks, but the extra utility is great. It really never gets old seeing someone try to land a CC or combo on you and being confused when it gets interrupted.

The extra damage from it adds some nice burst also, paired with a storm strike reckoning, it feels like I'm doing pre-nerf reckoning damage.

If you're talking about guardian specific AA, there's not a whole lot of super useful stuff. Giving FA 5% more dps is good though.

People like starting off with field of war & pressing strikes (I might be mixing this name up.)

On the soldier general portion of the AA tree a lot of stuff is pretty good, but getting the CC break is a must IMO. Fully feated it's only on a 2min CD.

I finally got PI last night and it is amazing for PVP.

I can't understand how people are complaining about it! Insta-cast, does damage and interrupts. I love it. You can stop CCs, HOX transformations, big heals, conq Whirlwind, the long, hard-hitting barb combos and so many other longer cast big hitting abilities with it (all this was just from one night of using it).

That and the CC break are both great for PVP so far.

I went with protection/Hp first protection wards chromatic warding then improved vitality stall the advanced is ok in certain circumstances i have 3 points into champion spirit its a nice little proc i am time training pi atm that will be nice to have.

Next i plan on maxing out the two BV AA feats although i heard funcom is nerfing bv so i might be wasting my time we will see.

Do I need to fill all these out to the max to see any improvements in magic mitigation ?

It just feels kind of broke at the moment....
You need to get at least 3 tics in the wards to really notice the effect. Get 3 in each combined with 3 in Chromatic and you will be pretty resilient, even in medicre gear.
