Correct. So if you hit both combos first, then hit Dart, you get the silence and the dot. If you hit SS, then you get the stun+detonation

I would say gc/sstrike depending. Face stab's dmg can be mitigated because I believe it's considered regular melee. The detonation is unholy dmg, and probably will go up against less protection. The unholy can be avoided by a lot of classes but they have to be on their toes to do this. Plus if you spec into the feat that ups the dmg and critical dmg of the detonation...it can sometimes be devastating. Keep in mind that soul strike is the cookie cutter sin way right now.

deadly venom is posion so it is mitagted by the same

if you notice your opp is popping his magic Def then go with Facestab
if hes not popping his magic def when fighting you he deserves to die so hit him with the 1-2 punch a gc+ss,sds+lcd

You got some things wrong.

Face Stab is slashing damage which is mitigated by Armor Rating and Physical Invuls while Detonation is unholy damage which is mitigated by Protection, Immunity and Magic Invuls

I am more concerned from a PVE standpoint more than PVP actually. Right now I am using GC+SDS+Face Stab, and on elite mobs I notice it can take out a very large chunk of health, or pull aggro from the raid boss.

That didn't go well.

Maybe I will respec again and try it out. See what happens.
