We have alot of good memories and much to be proud of.

Imperium was first conceived by Virtus (Red Steel) five years ago, and were a Day 1, Cimmeria Server Guild.

We routinely Raided Toth Amon in house up until the Khitai expansion.

We were also one of the top pvp guilds on Cimmeria, from our early days of Rp-pvp withein the Snowhawks, to holding Ft. Bane for a year and a half, to epic battles in Khesh, to shrines of bori being an imperium, acolyte, and LiF playground.

To our rp-pvp, and rp out in the world when much had started to be confined to CE, minis, and Guild Cities. We kept the torch lit.

I'm proud to have been a part of it, and having had the privilege of serving as Consul for nearly a year, one of only 5 to do so.

Everything I wanted to say to Imperium members was said on our forums (HERE)

To all our friends and foes thanks for making the game interesting over the years. We had some great battles and good times.

This was the first guild I created. I have no regrets ...I feel the Imperium was a great success and I achieved all the goals that I wanted when I created the Imperium. Having a guild where the leadership can change and marching boldly into the Boarderkingdom and conquering a battlekeep. The Imperium over the course of it's history had five Consuls and many magistrates that all greatly contributed to the success of the Imperium. We held Fort Bane for well over a year and a half. Countless battles in the open world and in sieges.

I'm glad I could create a guild that was more then just a guild but held a special place in peoples hearts and memories. What is the meaning of Imperium ...sphere of power... it was more like a sphere of friends. Thanks to you all ...Imperium members, friends to the Imperium and our enemies ...good times and good memories.

I like how (at least the way I read it) it is still left to be decided exactly who or what exactly caused the toxic vegetation. Or why for that matter.

You vrote a long thank you list, Galienus. Thank you for putting me the list. I remember I was excited when you joined and when Sendra joined. (I knew immediately that people like you that have the knowledge and interest in stories and ancient history as well as rp could add a lot of fun to this guild, and you both surely have)

And now a huge thank you to Red Steel for creating this guild. And the way it was done. Imperium was a consept I only imagined before I saw it on the prelaunch site. I had dreamed some similar thoughts and really wanted to see them some day. Red Steel put it all together in a splendid way that actually worked ingame. Such rich MMO experiance I havent seen anywhere, and will be very hard to copy.

Over the years with AoC and other game(s) before that Ive seen what works and dont in MMOs. And Im not gonna try to give away any secrets to Imperiums success. Well.. only one... that isnt really a surprise to anyone:
the keyword is probably planning. I dont know how much time Red Steel used to think out and write down the framework for Imperium that actually resulted into that first thread on the prelaunch website, but it all seemed well thought through.

Just as exciting as the best gaming experiences Ive had in this game has been 2 years of reading Imperium threads on the website, following the planning of what the guild would be like ingame, and maybe contributing in tiny bits.

Finally, thanks to everyone that has been a part of Imperium and other suiting theme guilds here in NA as well as Europe. Theme/inspiration guilds really enchance the game experience.

I wouldn't say we died, It was more of a decision cut our own head off before the plague spread any more then it all ready did...The original folks know what im talking about...Once gal became leader there was all ready to much blood loss after eliminating the disease.....

So in hindsight we took our own life to avoid a genocide....

Sleeper cells will once again awake and it won't be a pretty sight...

Kor! hay bud...yea those were good times....I havnt played in awhile so im not sure who's still around...If i had to guess how many still play ide probably be able to count them on one hand..

I thought this guild was gay but then a few of us jumped one of their "patrol" RP events and I was suprised even though most of them were terrible that they fought back and trash-talked in character, which was pretty funny.

Don't know alot about them as when I went to Cimmeria they had some in guild feud and I'm guessing their PvP people joined ACO's but at least they were not like those Empire of Stygia RP Nazi crowd where they were counting how many bans they could get in an hour.

I liked Imperium, they were cool for a 1/2 RP guild.
