I'm going to be running some RP events and was wondering if anyone could help me write a few scripts.

I'd like one for personal use, just for fun that does the /pickupitem and says *Loots (target)'s body*

Another that says "Halt, this area is under the protection of blah-blah-blah" and maybe throw up a "Stop" gesture

And the final ones would be "If you cannot abide by our rule, go back from whence you came." and have him point left, right or forward (depending on the whence the person came).

Can anyone help me out with this? I'm a total macro/bind ***** from City of Heroes, but the RP here has to be started in a second or the people will run away.

Welcome. I wasn't good at scripting either but using the #1, #2 thing really makes things easy.

When you go to use the script in game type the script name, like /wave then a space then add the word that fits for #1 <space> then #2, etc. I have two that are similar so I see a popup of a list I can choose from next to the cursor.

So if I type in /gs I'll see gs.txt and gsmail.txt in the list for me to choose from.

Yeah, I noticed that started happening a couple of weeks ago. I'd type /e and TAB twice to get the e-mote list. Then, when I do it, it gives me a list with /emote and /em on it. kinda nifty

BTW, here's a little bit of gold I call /loot

/emote pickupitem
/say <font color="#ffcc33">*%m loots %t 's body*</font>
/say Now, let's see if you have anything interesting...

Save to a notebook file called "loot" (no .txt on the end) and use it after you kill someone while still locked on. Then brace for impact of hate-tells and hax accusations.
