Regardless of how much you pay, none of us are entitled to any tag or special treatment. We are only entitled to a smooth, bug free game, which Funcom is truely delivering this far. I understand why you wish to be tagged as RP, but to do so would take away GM support and resources from Cimmeria, who need the rules enforcement more than a PvE server to keep it running smoothly and grief-free. All things considered, would it not make more sense to just join us on Cimmeria and assit with making the RP community the largest faction on the official RP server?

The whole realism dog doesn't exactly hunt in a game where some people command shamling undead minions, shoot out fire from their fingers, wear bras that deflect attacks and when you die you can always just rez at a bind point.

The game is about fantasy and squads of bare-breasted ten year olds who's mommy's don't read the box when they buy little jr. a new game, killing newbies at re-spawn points all day doesn't sell the fantasy.

One RP-PVE server isn't going to make anyone's baby Jesus cry man, nor is it going to fragment the community any.

Although it looks like Wiccana is the de facto RP-PVE server anyway. I am not sure how much good this will do but I'll sign it anyway.

/sign - For those people that think PvP is part of lore, you're partly correct. However, societies at large in the Conan universe do not relentlessly kill each other, and if they do, they don't freaking respawn. If you're not adhering to the attitude that death should be perceived as permanent, then you're sure as hell not following lore.

This is my first post. I am a long time RPer with an interest in story and character. I've been informed AOC is second to none in that category. I've only played about 2 hours and having played most other fantasy MMOs out there, I am inclined to agree.

I am personally interested in trying the RP-PVP FFA environment on occasion. However I also think a server with official RP policing that is PVE is a good thing for anyone who just wants to run around a world and explore/quest and not be bullied.

I like the concept of FFA PVP. However I know it attracts some juvenile and bully elements. When you don't have to worry about a real punch in the nose, you can feel real tough picking on those weaker than you. That is to many people what FFA PVP is about. I'm personally looking forward to it; but would also like an official non PVP RP server.

Thank you for posting this. However, Funcom will ignore it, simply because RP-PvE does not fit into their Vision of how one should roleplay in the game.

And we all know that for a thriving game, Vision is more important than what customers want. Just ask SOE.

All we need as the tag, "rp" added to the server. This becomes a label for other RPers who don't red the official boards to know where to roll if they'd rather not rp/pvp.
