Coming from a lore standpoint, is there any way to become an "honorary Cimmerian?" I ask mainly because almost all the rp-ers on my server are Cimmerian, or at least hate Stygians. I'm thinking something like aiding a Cimmerian chieftain/clan leader and him being able to declare you an honorary clan-member and thus Cimmerian would work, as there are many similar cultures irl that have this system.

Yeah, its not too hard. Just quit bathing altogether, hold your head in a bucket of soured beer until your brain no longer transmits comprehensable thoughts, and develop an overwhelming penchance for mating with members of your own family, and you'll be an honorary Cimmerian.

Now, why would a perfectly good Stygian WANT to be a Cimmerian? Perhaps he has abandonment issues. Maybe he just has low self esteem. There could be any number of reasons a Stygian would want to be a Cimmerian, and all of them are bad.

Or... the Stygian just doesn't know any better... maybe never been indoctrinated by Set or Derketo.

However, given the state of Cimmeria (and all the running around you have to do to bring communications between folks who apparently have no other means to communicate), expect many Cimmerians to be unaware of this Honorary status (and, likely, to refuse acceptance of it until directly proven otherwise to their liking, which some will never like).

Yeah, I was thinking something along the lines of dual citizenship, and as I said vaguely but didn't make completely clear, it's because most of the rp events on my server are cimmerians only. *******s.

I assume these are player organized events. So, I'd suggest you talk to the folks who are organizing them.

This really sounds like a meta-issue, not a game issue.

Or completely in character and roleplay style, get a bunch of Stygians and Aquilonians (if you can handle the poodle petting pansy men's company for very long) and crash the party.

Most Cimmerians would never accept a duel from a Stygian. They'd rather fight as enemies with no rules of encounter. Even for the few that might accept a challenge from a Stygian, I doubt they'd ever agree it was a fair fight if they lost.

There's really no sure way a Stygian could prove themselves to be as good as Cimmerians in battle to a Cimmerian, and let's face it: That's pretty much the only way most Cimmerians would let anyone else be Honorary with them.

Who's talking about a duel? I believe senior Draygen is referring to something along the lines of having one Stygian go up to the event/party/whatever, and, if he gets thrown out, come back with fifteen and inundate them with zombies, demons, pokedy daggers, and assorted other sources of firey death. Fun and profit!
