I recently came back to the game. The install of AoC is fresh and no custom UI is being used.

The issue I am having is on my main character, I press "M" for the map toggle and it looks like it wants to open but never does. I tried changing the default toggle key and still nothing. When I log onto another toon, it opens no problem. I dont know how to resolve this. Help?

It hasn't moved the map off of the screen has it? People have that issue with the targets target box sometimes.

Try using the /reloadui command in chat. Failing that, reduce the resolution of your screen to the lowest setting, then back to the biggest. That will pull all your bars and boxes in towards the centre and when the resolution is increased to the max you have, they'll be in the middle.

Also, try the /setoption command in chat - Just type /setoption [Tab Key]. Look for the command that relates to the map. Change it's value to true or 1 (or the like). One of them should force it to pop up.

Thanks for trying. None of that worked. I dont think the map is stuck off screen. It starts to open, then just stops. I think I may have some character corruption on their side. My quest journal shows I have 2 quests but I have none showing when I look. I am not sure what to do at this point.
