Question Answer Session for Iron Tower

What's your favorite aspect of the new dungeon?

I like the range of activities the Iron Tower has to offer. Yes, you can go in just for a regular run, do some quests, and kill some bosses. But the instance offers more than just that. Most of it is hidden, but for players who like a challenge let it be said that crafting and small puzzles, alternative ways to fight bosses and hidden drops can be found all over the instance if you look for them. And although Iron Tower concludes the Tarantia Common storyline, it is only just the beginning.


Has anyone found the way to use the items on the 3rd floor of the tower to craft anything to fight agaisnt the boss. The cook has many items that highlight with a gear to use but nothing happens and the cook dont have a yellow exclamation for a quest for anything???

If a certain item drops from a boss, it can start a quest (for an alchemist) with the "Iron Chef" that uses those selectable ingredients.

Ok from what I have gathered on the forums, On the top of the Iron tower roof you fight guardian bosses and the Rock Salt Recipe drops and you right click on it and you get a quest for the alchemist.

From what we have seen, you go talk to him (the alchemist) once you have the rock salt, The Alchemist then tasks you to provide him with a potion (which you must craft) and if you can get the potion to him in time he rewards you with a new recipe.

FIRST OF ALL: make sure you are capable of crafting lvl80 alchemy food, also make sure you have all needed materials to craft ANY of the available lvl80 food.

If you are an Alchemist and have the Pristine Rock Salt you hand it in to the Iron Cook in Iron Tower. Now on the right side of his table there are a few plates with stuff on them you can click, then some bags infront of the table, the jar of water next to the oven and the pot on the fire pit. Click all of them, doesn't matter what rotation, just make sure you are "Using" the item.

When you have done all this you will have a new food item in your inventory, click this to start another quest and directly hand it in to the Cook.

He will now give you a quest that you can neither Share nor Cancel, it will have a 2min countdown and he wants you to craft (probably a random) lvl80 food and then hand it in to him. Since you read the start of my post you knew you had to bring all the needed resources and bases so you just craft it directly, hand it in to him and receive the recipe Alchemy: Ironswill.


Ironswill Health Potion

Ingrediants 4 ground cinnibar, 4 sourmetal salts, 4 henbane, 1 energized yeti bile = 25 ironswill

And that is what I love about the forums. I always thought they were here so people could share information and lend a hand when someone had a question. Obviously, I am wrong. With attitudes like this, it is no wonder the population on the servers are so low.

Apparently it is Uber to be one of the 1337 ppl who have information but will not share it.

Don't think we are all that way...most of us are trying to figure it out...it is only the 1337 ppl who think that this somehow makes them important that withold information. Ok I get that on the RP servers where it is difficult to make a buck that just tossing information out is bad for business...we'll keep running em till we figure it out...then they won't be so l337...
