Dystny, thanks for posting this. I have been tinkering with feats to make a viable melee option, but I hadn't really completed a solid build. After testing this one a bit, I have already noticed a difference. I made some changes that reflect my needs, but it works well.

hi ive been trying to make a X bow Maintank Guard for t4
any one have a good build and or combo rotation. i know that guards are usually S&B or polearm, but i really feel the need to play as a xbow tank.

Would the purchasable melee skills make much of a difference for melee play? I don't melee all that much myself unless I need to stun something so I don't know if they'd be worth getting.

I doubt it. I have both the T2 sword and dagger on my ranger, and have tried using them on occasion. I doubt the purchasable ranks would make a difference. You're still squishy and don't have a whole lot of outs as a melee ranger.
