You seriously think that the guards were created in open areas for servers that have no open world pvp? The guards were created due to pvp'ers qq'ing over getting rez camped at the entrances of zones.

Lawls on pve'ers wanting bori. That came from pvp'ers again crying because they couldn't get gear quick enough to stay competitive. The only think you can blame on Pve'ers would be the need for gear in pvp. A lot of people were crying because they spent countless hours raiding for gear that had no bearing in player vs player combat. The game was created with the ideal that the better skilled players would shine regardless of gear. People were dueling naked in kesh and beating full t1'ed toons(highest gear at the time).

The grind is created to give your A.D.D. a task to keep it from running away from the game. Just settle down and keep think every new quest is a new bright and shinny... just keep going for the new shinny and you will be there in no time.

You can knock out around 6 dungeons per hour, you get three to four rares per dungeon which gives you around 20 rares per hour. My guess is your group lacks the dps to rip through them quickly and/or your tanks can't hold which doesn't allow dps to dps.

I usually only get 2-3 rares, last night we powered through the Monastery, Palace and a Yag run in a bit over an hour and I only got 14 rares. So your mileage will vary. But this requires toons who are already geared out, I would wager that the majority of those who are actually hunting the rares are usually the ones who are not fully geared out. These tend to lack some of the synergy needed to really tear through dungeons like that.

Yeah basically, so if you have no Khitai gear or blue gear it is harder to get it or not possible. There is no way semi geared toons could knock out 6 dungeons in an hour. And since u are at that lvl u prolly dont even need to be running these dungeons any more cause u have epic pants chest helm etc. Which kind of defeats the whole point of doing these dungeons. A bit azz backwards but I guess the way **** works? This doesn't blend well though with casual gamers hence the token exchange idea.

When I hit 80 I moa grind and can usually hit rank three on each faction in a couple days, which gives you the blue gear you need to stay competitive. I throw one aa point in five wards in order to get down to the second teir aa, then train what ever i need for dungeons. By the time i have tw or fh I usually already half a set of purple gear.

If your group is all newbie, I suggest just running the HoC five boss grind. You can still get about 14 rares an hour and you don't need any gear or aa.

The challenge with the rare tokens / moa's is to even it out. The way our guildies have run it at initial start up, first, was when we were all undergeard, was to cycle through Khitai 6 Mans Easy.

Once we had the AA points, we were able to grind out khitai factions.

Once we had factions we hit God Slayers. Once we hit Godslayers we alternated with different classes.

This is what we did as a guild initially starting out.

In order to progress this more rapidly we were forced to pug it out and join pugs.

Now as a guild we can run any scenario with alts and get gear.

Now with our toons "Geared" We move to progression with 6 man'n it for weapons, rings, etc.. to be the best and to complete Khitai sets.

You have to pick and choose.

If you want to go PVP and grind mini's out all day that's your deal.
If you want to grind out Khitai 6 Man's all day that's your deal.

PVE / PVP - Personally I like Tyranny because after 2 hrs in a row of either I want to switch and focus the other. It keeps things interesting.

Smile Account based Rare Relics, MoA, etc.

As a multi-class player, I too would like to see an account-based system for New World Relics, Marks, etc. It doesn't necessarily need to be limited to these items, but I think this would be a great place to start.

If the purpose of the relic system (including MoA's) is to reward those that put time into the game, as opposed to those that put time into one specific character, it seems appropriate to at least consider an account based system - in my opinion, one that would not allow transfer of these rewards outside of a player's(for the purpose of preventing abuse).

I know there are many players like myself who have spent hundreds of hours trying to gain faction standing and to obtain the requisite relics and marks to purchase faction/dungeon gear. However, my desire, and sometimes the need, to play multiple toons, makes this a very, very slow process. Much of the time, if I want to do 6-mans, I have to bring a toon different than the one I really want to play, or I cannot get in at all or we cannot get enough players to do the dungeon.

Yes, there are pro's and con's to every argument, but one cannot argue that if the purpose of New World relics/marks is to reward time spent in game, a player can do it on multiple toons as much as another can do it on a single toon. After all, there is still a significant amount of effort required to gain faction standing before the gear is ever purchased. This could also be reduced by allowing the sharing of insignias, which I am not necessarily opposed to for the same reasons stated for relics/marks.

Obviously, to facilitate account based options such as shared relics/marks, it seems that a shared storage tab would be the likely method of transfer between account characters.
