lol demos always get kills unless you truly suck and don't understand what the class does (hint: AoE DPS). It's the "not dying" thing that most people can't figure out.

conqs, well idiots make useless conqs, undergeared is not useless, people just need to understand the limitations and go brick wall spec and run flags, contribute with CC's, and generally play second line, not frontline, it's basics and natural intelligence. If you die 3 times, get no kills and make 3 flag caps, you WIN, but too many see it as failing because they didn't have a positive KD.

Why does anyone care who my conq is? So you can shame me for my bad KDR? I dont give a **** about KDR, but, as I said before, far too many do, thanks for proving my point.

When I play, I try to think of it from a team standpoint, not my own personal gain to improve my KDR.

My whole point is that the way it is now, it is driving people away, not a QQ about why I cant get any kills.

Generally, when people want to know your toon, it is because they want to know how you play. We know KDR doesn't mean ****, but your play style does.

hey, how's grovens kdr? there's the perfect example of a "baddie",he can't kill anything, but makes a real pain in the ass flagbot, wins games, even when he had no gear, he was running flags well for his teams.

so either play, and get better, learn to play or whatever, but stfu with the excuses and QQ about everything that is "unfair" for gods sake.

Thanks for setting me straight. BTW, I never said unfair, I said unbalanced. But your right, everything is just fine in PVP and people just need to L2P, thats why there are so many new faces in 80 mini games. Im still here, but how many others have left? Does no one else see the game withering and dieing?

AoC is a challenging game that does require skill and a brain to play. Its not clicky clicky get kills like the other garbage on the market, BUT if players dont feel like they can contribute they quit. Im not talking about me, Im talking about the heatlth of the community. I have been here since launch, but I only came over to Tyranny from Wiccana this summer. Im changing my style to match what PVP requires, but I understand the mechanics of the game and my class and also its limitations. There are many who dont. There are many who dont come on the forums where some good suggestions are offered.

Mini games are a hostile environement, and rather than offering suggestions on how to get better in game, new players are raged at for sucking (Usually by high level PVP'ers), and guess what, they dont come back. They dont get suggestions on how to get better, they are just chastised until they quit.

It seems anytime someone brings up inbalances in the game, it is interpreted as QQ and are chastised for such.

I will just STFU now though. Thanks for the suggestion.

no one cares bout your kdr man, especially as a tank. BUT if you no run flags and dont support your team an still has baddie kdr, thats when ppl be like.. hmm is u falcore.

serisouly though, i fyour gearz isnt very good u can still be a good asset you your team as a conq, get flags, cc ppl, stand in front of your clothies and absorb some splash dmg, all those kinda things

Pretty much what Geldour said. And, If you have advice to ask for, feel free to ask, send tells or whatever and ask, most people are willing to share. Don't pay attention to rage in group chat etc.

And yeah, mini games on PVE servers are totally different to Tyranny, skill wise and how they play.
