Here is a game I found on a different forums and jsut cut and pasted to here:
EYES OF THE SERPENT!
This game can be played with one person having the dice and rolling for people, or the whole group having their own dice.
The maximum and optimal size of players is six, but can be done with as few as four.
The object is to reach or exceed a certain number of points before the other players do. An example of a short game would be to go to twenty five, a medium sized game is to fifty, and a long game would go to one hundred.
RULES:
*Before the game starts, the group agrees on the ante. Each person *must* ante up before they can roll. The ante is tipped to the game host and goes into the pot.
*Each person rolls the two dice, and the combined total of the two is the points received. (Ex: 2 & 5 for total of 7)
*The person to the left of the game host goes first, and the play goes to the left around the table, ending with the game host.
*A roll of doubles, 2 & 2 through 6 & 6, is special, and the player is granted the option to roll again to test his or her luck, or to pass to the next player
*A roll of 1 & 1 is THE EYES OF THE SERPENT, and getting this roll means that the players points are reset to ZERO
*Anyone who gets THE EYES OF THE SERPENT also must pay the COMPLETE ANTE to the game host. (Ex: If the ante is 50 copper, and there are six players, the person who rolled 1 & 1 must pay 3 silver to the game host, and must still ante up again for the next round if they wish to continue playing)
*At the end of each round, the game host reads off each persons scores and who is in the lead.
*The first person to meet or exceed the number of points needed to win is the winner of the pot!
