Can some1 please tell me the differance between general,PvP and role playing gaming?? Or direct me to a thread or something? I notice that i cant attack other players in gwahlur... And how do i join guilds? Can i join 1 in Gwahlur??

1. General - no PvP outside of designated areas. These areas are Border Kingdoms, Minigames and Sieges.

2. PvP - free for all PvP. The only safe locations are in Tortage when you start out and then only for everything except Underhalls and White Sands and in the major cities (Khemi, Old Tarantia and bottom of nowhere, Cimmeria). You can be attacked anywhere by other players.

3. RP - there is only one RP server at the moment and that also adheres to the PvP ruleset above (2). You are expected to be in-character and have names that are appropriate for the setting.

Gwalhur is an Oceanic PvE server. You will only be able to attack people there in minigames, sieges and the Border Kingdoms.

To get into a guild you have two choices. Form your own one (A guild of one) or join a guild by being invited into it. Play a bit first, meet people and get to know the guilds on your server. (Or spend some time with them on the forums). Then see if you can get invited into one.

thanks mate Great help. Im playing the role playing at the momment and really enjoying it. Theres alot of great ppl online who help me with everything i need as a noob. And yes this is a great game. Cant wait to lvl up and split some skulls with my axe

Sounds like you want to PVP now. Reroll on Tyranny and PVP all you like.

Just a warning
PvP in this game it's not easy (unless you are a caster).
combos, collision control, murder system, hotts n pots, everyone can stealth, guards pulling, group ganking, class inbalance, traking, kiting, circle strafing, mouse moving, etc etc.
i suggest playing a bit on pve servers before rolling on a pvp server where everyone you encounter will take advantage of you lack of skill for a quick kill.
in this game skill will win every time over gear, but the learning curve is very steep especially in pvp. too many people have rolled on pvp server only to get spawn camped endlessly in White Sands and ended up unsubbing in a fit of rage.

well im 3 for 13 as a conqueror and im happy with that. I ve noticed that casters and bowman find it very easy to pick me off especially when they have all those creepy companions surrounding them. Im slowly learning though. I usually go to white sands with a buddy and he stuns them with his arrow while i feed them to my axe all good fun though.
