I think my rig can handle this little old game, Most of my concerns lie with in the code compiling or the subversion maintenace of previous versions, As a developer those are my concerns, if regression testing is done and the Test were actually a mirror of the current production there would be more of a seemless transition. I fully under stand change, but when change breaks operable levels of the application it is usually from one of the following above noted factors.
I for one still wonder if they use ints intergers or Floats.
an Int is a whole number sans the decimel point ie... 65 a float is 65.65 Floats take an heck of alot of space. It is massivly ineffcient and a serious Memory waste. and above all else you can never really compare two floats to each other 65.65 to 65.65 will never really be equal due to the possiblity of a variable in the tens, hundreds and thousands. Floats breed inefficency for a result that is nominal. All our gear is in ints and our mitigation is in Floats.
