There needs to be a video option to only show healing particles.

Healers rely on particles to see the green and blue rings to know when to refresh heals, and to know who already has hots on them and who does not. The only way to see the rings in a raid is to have ALL particles on.

Other classes get the luxury of only seeing their own particles, so they are not bombarded with effects. But as a healer, if I want to do my job properly, I have no choice but to see all 24 people's particle effects, which can have detrimental effects on my framerate. Holy glowing spam, Batman.

So please, give healers the option to only see healing particles. Think of the children!

Maybe sliders that work similar to the audio tab, where there is one slider that controls the master volume, and sliders under it that let you tweak individual classes of sounds. Of course, in this example Myself would show at least as strongly as Raid. It wouldn't make sense to be able to put your own effects lower than the entire raid's. But perhaps something like this...

Just thinking about this a little more...

All I really need to see are the blue and green heal circles. I don't care about seeing cups or swirling leaves or naked snake women.

Well, I'm okay those particle effects still existing. I just want to be able to turn off everyone else's particles without turning off the raidwide blue and green rings.

i absolutley support this idea but for the opposite reason. i want to be able to turn the rings off when i'm questing. i realize they are vital when healing a group but when doing my own thing they just look uggly as hell. but yea pls Funcom let us tweek only our heaing particles.

yeah i asked if this was possible in the technical issues section a couple weeks back and got no answer. I def. agree. I have to stop playing my healer toons just for this reason.

I believe Funcom actually has to remove particles from game since it causes issues. Too many exist and particles like PoMs crunk cup of healing particle is annoying!!!
