The interpretation can also go that talking about 'ghost sieges' is off topic for this thread, and thus not following the forum rules.
Wiccana is nice, and it will be where I would move to if I get too frustrated by the murder system/pvp on Cimmeria.
The times I've been there their global was a lot more helpful and a lot less dramatic than on Cimmeria. I don't know if the minis or raids were as or more active than on Cimmeria.

Wiccana has more friendlier people because theres no open PvP. PvP servers, people tend to be.... high strung?
Nearly not as many mini's as Cimmeria, but plenty of in house raiding. However, Cimmeria has more pug raids going. You can find a pug raid almost every night on Cimmeria, whereas here, you will see only 1 or 2 guilds hold one.

So my topic of the state of sieging with respect to ghost sieging (right or wrong) wasn't on topic about the pvp on Wiccana?
Wonder why there wasn't:
"Please folks, discuss the topic at hand, and let us drop the topic of "Tyranny Transfers", as requested by Funcom/Community Managers."
Anyway, you and I both know that's not what the intent was, so let's not pretend to be naive.

Drop it, please. Before your desire to discuss that topic gets a new player requesting information about Wiccana's thread locked.
If you want to have a thread locked - create a new one.

Be nice to the Dreg, he's in my fan club.
Also, good point, mentioning any manner of exploit, even by example, is sure to bring the heat.
Therefore, on topic: I find that wiccana is superior in many ways to cimmeria, because honestly, I don't really see a big disparity in the number of minis popping, and seiges are probably not getting filled because seiges is borked at the moment.

Also, the community is far more helpful on Wiccana.
I find that if I must post off-topic bits, it works real well to bracket it with on-topic bits.
I never have trouble grouping on Wiccana.

Wiccana also has pretty rich history of interesting players that have been around for a long, long time. Heck, you can pretty much just RP being a Wiccana player and that'll give you lots of interesting play
And as Unutterable says, lots of helpful players, for example quoting something you want to delete but still have said.

I was a big advocate of PvP on our server, I can't even say with a straight face anymore that PvP on our server is alive, It's an empty shell of what it once was, you can blame it on anything you want, we had a very good thing at one time, we won't ever get it back. I'm not pointing fingers and I won't name names, but alot of us put forth our best effort to keep things rolling, I've all but completely lost interest in this game now, but I haven't thrown in the towel yet.

Organized PVP is the key. We schedule PVE; why not PVP? There are lots of people in Wicc's community with the skills and resources to do it. Look at the FFA PVP nights, and at the guilds who host weekly multi-guild raids with sign-ups and quotas. Organizing weekly 12-man premades at the 59 and 80 brackets would be cake.
If PVP is going to survive, it's going to have to be structured. - Spontaneous minis are self-defeating: regulars form premades and crush newcomers.
- World PVP doesn't exist.
- Dueling gets old.
- Sieges are buggy.
P.S. The situation is getting to be as bad on the PVP servers. Organize here, and people would be flooding in from PVP servers.
